Actual pricing and schedules may vary depending on site conditions, materials, permit requirements, project changes, inspections, client selections, availability of labor or materials, and other factors outside our control.

6. California Contractor Compliance

Where applicable, services are subject to California contractor licensing and contract requirements. In California, contractors generally must be licensed for projects valued at $500 or more in combined labor and materials, and consumers may verify a license through CSLB’s official “Check a License” tool. 

If your project requires a written home improvement contract under California law, the final written project agreement will control over anything stated on this website. California law also places restrictions on down payments and requires specific notices in certain home improvement contracts.
